Barack Obama Tries To Squeeze Water From a Rock

What do you think is worse for a Presidential candidate and elected member of the U.S. Senate

Truth be told neither is something you would write home about. But there is a difference between clumsily making a stupid comment and secretly meeting with the leaders of a terrorist group, that oh, by the way, is actively killing men, women and children on a regular basis.

So when Barack Obama’s campaign makes the following statement you should keep in mind what is actually the real disgrace.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement: “The fact that John McCain’s top adviser says that a terrorist attack on American soil would be a ‘big advantage’ for their political campaign is a complete disgrace, and is exactly the kind of politics that needs to change. Barack Obama will turn the page on these failed policies and this cynical and divisive brand of politics so that we can unite this nation around a common purpose to finish the fight against al-Qaida.

Barack Obama, the guy that sat on a board non-judgmentally with and American terrorist and hired a pro-Palestinian advisor that met with Hamas is going to turn the page on the nations failed policies in the fight against al-Qaida? The guy who is going to meet with our adversaries “without pre-condition”?

This has to be a joke, right?

Message to Barack Obama: America hasn’t been attacked since 2001 and you, my friend, had nothing to do with that fact. The Democrats in Congress with the help of Barack Obama’s silver tongue helped fan the flames of American hatred and demoralize the troops. Yet we managed to persevere without their help and in some respects, despite it.

Thinking back to the statement that we need a change in politics I am in wonderment. Are we not supposed to point out that the Democrats are the party of surrender and capitulation? Are we not supposed to mention that 9-11 was planned while Democrats were in office? Using logic, something your standard Democrat in Congress seems to lack, you could hardly blame Republicans for the failed policies that lead to that attack in 2001, or the previous attacks for that matter. Are we not supposed to mention that we have not been attacked since, that the heads of the worlds leading terrorist groups have been killed and the terrorist network that attacked America has been dealt a severe blow? But they are not destroyed, just pushed back. To reverse course on the fight now would only let them regroup.

I believe that was the point that McCain’s advisor Charlie Black was trying to make or should have made. Unfortunately you can’t count on everybody to keep their feet out of their mouths. But that is a far cry different than getting on a plane and meeting with Hamas.

So which failed policies is Obama referring to? The politics of divisiveness? Nope, can’t be that because the Obama campaign’s statement is the same ol’ same ol’.

Fact of the matter is that Barack Obama is not the candidate for change. He’s nothing different than Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Jack Murtha, Dick Durbin or Chuck Schumer. This is just for starters. They are cut from the same mold, pointing the finger the other way, doing nothing and making even less sense.
