The Democrats held their You Tube debate last night where video questions sent in by tech savvy people were selected and played for the candidates to answer. I did not watch the debate though some analysts have indicated that B. Hussein Obama won the debate and Joe Biden carried himself well. I don’t like Biden and can not imagine him as President. John Edwards reportedly came off as a snake oil salesman who would say anything to get elected but deeper analysis indicates that Hillary Rodham is no different in that respect. Hillary must be fuming today over reports that people changed from supporting her to supporting Obama. Why wouldn’t they? Say what you want about Obama he appeared more genuine than some of the other front runners (in the highlights I saw).

Hillary, on the other hand, was very disingenuous. The candidates were asked if any of them would be willing to be President for minimum wage. Hillary replied that she would and why wouldn’t she? Her husband makes $15 million a year so she really does not need the 400 thousand dollars a year the president gets. The Clinton financial disclosure statement shows they own quite a bit of stocks and have other investments as well as income from their book deals. Hell, Hillary could PAY 400 thousand dollars a year to be president. The answer was obviously given to tell folks that she would work for minimum wage to help the country but the underlying message is that she is comfortable with the minimum wage (so don’t ask for more). My question for the left is, what makes Hillary any different than the evil rich business owners who want to keep the minimum wage where it is so they can make more money? Hillary is rich and is happy with that pay but then again she would do anything to be the President, and that should worry people.

Additionally, a question was asked about meeting with the leaders (in the first year in office) of the countries with whom we disagree (read our enemies). Obama indicated that he would and that he felt we could not work out our differences without talking to people. Rodham said that she would not because that could be used a propaganda. Last night the pundits were drooling all over this indicating how the answer showed that Rodham has more experience than Obama and was able to see the pitfall involved in meetings, blah, blah. What it showed was that Hillary took an opposite position to Obama and tried to justify it with something that made her look experienced. I imagine that if Obama had said no she would have said yes because that is how you resolve differences. Hillary said what was politically convenient at the time in order to push her agenda.

You see, back in April Hillary Rodham had a completely different take on meeting with our enemy’s leaders. Hillary, while blasting the Bush Administration, said that she would talk to the leaders of other countries and indicated that it was just wrong that a President would not do so. So, when she is blasting Bush there is no worry about propaganda but when she is trying to outmaneuver Obama she is worried about it. This is typical Clinton speak in that they will say anything to get elected and fulfill their 20 year plan of both of them serving as President.

America made a mistake two times by electing Bill Clinton to the White House. We can not afford to make the same mistake of putting another Clinton in office. Haven’t we had enough of the Bushes and the Clintons?
