Another (ssshhh illegal immigrant) Suspect In Newark Murder Case Caught Trying to Flee To Mexico

The tally is growing as police arrested two more immigrants in the execution style slaying of three people on a schoolyard in Newark New Jersey. The latest suspect was caught trying to flee the country on his way to seek out sanctuary in Mexico. The AP report that appeared in in the Washington Post left out an important word when describing the latest suspect, ILLEGAL.

Rodolfo Godinez, a 24-year-old Nicaraguan immigrant, was arrested in an Oxon Hill, Md., rooming house just north of the I-495 Beltway at about 1 a.m., said John Cuff, an investigator with the U.S. Marshals Service.

{snip}

The search team, which included the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force, staked out the address in Maryland where Godinez was staying after receiving a tip that he was planning to flee to Texas and then to Mexico, according to James Plousis, a U.S. marshal who is responsible for New Jersey.

The tip came from a confidential informant working with federal law enforcement, Cuff said.

Nearly 10 other people, Sorukas said, were arrested for immigration violations in the operation.

None of these people would have died in this horrific manner if politicians didn’t make it possible for criminals to walk into our country illegally and commit countless crimes under the cover of their illegal status. The short list includes rape, drug deals, murder, robberies and assaults; all jobs that most American’s aren’t willing to do and most politicians aren’t too willing to do something about. The Newark case is just one more example of your security being forsaken for a vote, the quest for power and personal financial gain. The media has also played a large role in underplaying the status of these murderers and their links to the imported MS-13 gang.

The New Jersey Star ledger filled us in earlier on Rodolfo Godinez’s illegal status.

On the same day Newark buried three victims of the Aug. 4 schoolyard slayings, authorities yesterday identified a 24-year-old Nicaraguan national with a record of robbery, assault and weapons arrests as a “principal player” in the execution-style attack.

Rodolfo Godinez, who lives in the city’s Ivy Hill neighborhood where the killings occurred, has been the subject of an intense manhunt since Friday, when detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging him with murder, robbery and weapons offenses, authorities said.

[snip]

Immigration and Customs Enforcement records indicated Godinez may also be in the country illegally. Rodolfo Antonio Godinez Gomez entered the U.S. from Nicaragua on Oct. 24, 1992. He was ordered deported on May 5, 1993, but it isn’t clear if he ever left the country, according to Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontura.

“It seems to me that he was illegal,” he said.

Authorities released Godinez’s name and photograph yesterday morning, at the same time funeral services were being held for Dashon Harvey, 20; Terrance Aeriel, 18; and Iofemi Hightower, 20. Aeriel’s sister, 19-year-old Natasha, was shot in the head, but survived. She remained hospitalized yesterday, but has been helping investigators identify the attackers.

The rap sheet on Godinez alone is a sad chapter in negligence and liberal sentencing guidelines that put criminals back on the street to strike repeatedly.

Godinez was first arrested as a juvenile on June 21, 1999, in South Orange for robbery that was downgraded to theft for which he got 18 months probation. In September 2002, he was arrested in Irvington for aggravated assault, robbery and weapons possession. He was indicted but its not clear what happened after that. In April 2003, he was arrested for robbery in Newark which was downgraded to theft and got 18 months probation, Essex County records show.

Authorities have been arresting and identifying the alleged attackers since getting their first big break in the case: lifting a fingerprint from a Colt 45 beer bottle that was left at the crime scene.

They matched the print to Carranza, whom Natasha Aeriel identified in a photo array from her hospital bed. While searching for Carranza, they came across the 15-year-old Newark boy, who admitted his role in the crime and named other accomplices, the law enforcement sources said.

Carranza somehow manged to get himself fingerprinted with what appears to be little repercussion; another advantage of being here in the United States illegally.

None of this had to happen. These people should have been deported the minute they were discovered as illegal immigrants. Instead they were either put back on the streets or simply slipped through the system until they committed their latest crimes in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Until we can get rid of all the wussie judges,ACLU,bleeding heart libs and the beckering between law agencies it’s still going to be the same old thing.

Just look at the last month and the crimes that have been commited by illegals that should have been gone before they went out and did it again. Carranza has been in this country since he was 11 years old and he can’t speak English? When he raped the 5 year old and had a bail of $150.000.00 the idiot judge cut it to $1500.00? Why? He already had gun charges and what ever else.

When the idiot judge in Maryland let the rapist there go because they couldn’t find a translator? Well let me see I could give them at least 10 names that are registered as translators with in a 5 mile range of the court house. Then there’s Georgetown University who have tons of them that are registered because of the their International studies program what are they maybe 10 miles away? Then there’s the embassy. They have a lot of them in DC. I guess this didn’t dawn on the court clerk or judge.

I think there is a whole lot of house cleaning that needs to be done. I just hope the big sleeping nation we call home wakes up soon and realizes it.

With everything that is in the papers (if any one reads them) and the web that has anything and everything news worthy or not you would think more people would be more aware of the mess we are getting in to. A good first step give CA back to Mexico and ask for our money back and they have to keep all who live there. Just don’t say anything about SF until the papers are signed.

How about we deal with illegals the way Mexico does. No tolerance your out. Just look at fast they got rid of the 7000 when their train broke down the other day. No waiting, your gone.
