Al Qaeda Expresses "Gratitude" and "Happiness" over Bombay Train Bombing

The AP is reporting that al Qaeda is claiming to have set up shop in Kashmir and is expressing gratitude over the Bombay train bombing.
The man, who identified himself as Abu al-Hadeed, told Kashmir’s Current News Service that ”who so ever has carried out the attacks in Bombay we express our gratitude and happiness.”
It is time for the left to concede that the war on terror is not simply a U.S. plan that was concocted to fuel the military war machine. There is a deep seated belief by many on the left that the “military industrial complex” needs this war. Supposedly it helps turn over old rotting arms and helps fuel new research into bigger and better weapons.
I imagine that attacks on America may highlight the need for improvements in U.S. defenses but let’s be honest about who is waging war on whom.
‘We appeal to Muslims in India to fight for freedom and Islam and choose jihad as their way to achieve freedom and establishing Islamic ways,” al-Hadeed was quoted as saying. He added the Bombay bombings ”are a reaction to what is happening to the minorities, especially Muslims in India.”
Isn’t it nice that Islamic terrorists are helping minorities by blowing them apart limb from limb at every opportunity they get?
Frankly I am sick to death of the KosPos conspiracy kooks who have taken over the democrat party. Their skulls are so thick that senseless bombing and cross border raids into Israel are blamed on anyone but the terrorists who commit the crimes against humanity.
Even the AP is being cautious about the al Qaeda claim. “It was impossible to independently verify the caller’s identity and if he actually represents a new wing of al-Qaida.”
Funny, I don’t quite recall the same care being exhibited when the AP reporters leapt to the conclusion that the Haditha massacre was perpetrated by the murdering offspring of My Lai.
Quick, someone call Kevin Barrett over at the University of Wisconsin and ask him if it’s too late to fit this into his syllabus. Perhaps he can find some way to portray the bombing as a CIA plot to escalate the war against Islam. You know, something like Abu al-Hadeed is left handed but he reportedly held the phone to his head with his right hand; proof that the U.S. government faked the call.
The AP even has this covered as they whip out their forensic linguistic analysis based on the origin of al-Hadded’s name.
Al-Hadeed identified the network’s Kashmir leader as Abu Abdul Rehman al-Ansari. Both names are Arabic, not Urdu, the language spoken by most of Muslims in India and Pakistan.
Current News said al-Hadeed spoke in Urdu. But he reportedly said: ”Henceforth our statements will be in Arabic.”
Perhaps they have been watching too much CSI or perhaps al Qaeda would like to take calim for the bombing. It really doesn’t matter because the underlying message is the same.
Islamic terrorists are using a religion as a platform to wage war and the Muslim community remains silent for the most part. This is one theme that is repeated over and over. The next bombing could be here. The picture isn’t all that complicated.
