Update #3: The American Left continues to dig themselves into a hole trying to act like the coolest kid at the depraved party by falling all over themselves to fit in. Allah Pundit at Hot Air is reporting that 60 Minutes is going to give Ahmadinejad his own personal platform to address the American public. I personally didn’t think the left could come full circle so quickly but once again I have been proven wrong; they really are of lower character than I had imagined.

Update #2: A dean at Columbia University said they would give Hitler a platform as well!

University Dean John Coatsworth, aging relic and bastion of liberal idiocy appeared on Fox News to defend the invite of a man who is supporting and participating in killing American servicemen and women.

“If Hitler were in the United States and he wanted a platform from which to speak he would have plenty of platforms to speak from in the United States. If he were willing to engage in a debate and a discussion, to be challenged by Columbia students and faculty, we would certainly invite him.”

This hypothetical, which isn’t so hypothetical after all (see below), is a commonly used device by idiots who have no real leg to stand on. The defense of absolving your actions by saying someone else would do it is no defense at all; just ask any parent. Only a babbling fool would get on TV and openly invite Hitler to engage in debate after knowing that the person was responsible for the murder of 6 million Jews not to mention the millions who died in an effort to stop the killers. More proof that the nuts are running the asylum.

Notice also that the Iranian military in that parade is doing the standard nutball march; the same march done by all military products of crazy fascist and communist governments.

Only people without a clue would give killers and terrorist supporters a platform from which to defend their actions. We all know that these types are honest and open.

Ahmadinejad, New York, and Columbia University – What the Hell?

At first I was blowing off this Columbia University thing; whereas the university has invited Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak on their campus. I thought, “whatever, no big deal”. But then I really started to think about it, and it isn’t a blow off issue. It is an issue that needs to be addressed.

It is an affront to all Americans that this anti-American, Jew bashing terrorist is allowed to speak anywhere within the United States, let alone be allowed on U.S. soil. Which leads me to the Columbia University invite. Why would any American college allow this maniac to speak on their campus? This is a man, who is President of a country that is supplying arms and funding the insurgents who are killing our soldiers.

We, collectively as United States citizens, need to get vocal when it comes to having anti-American terrorists on our precious soil. We continually allow this when we should not. This is no different than when Hugo Chavez was allowed to speak at the United Nations and call our President el-diablo or the devil. How fitting it is that Ahmadinejad plans to visit Hugo down in Venezuela after he leaves the United States. They both can have a good laugh at our stupidity in allowing foreign leaders to trash American leaders on American soil.

Columbia University is no different. President Bollinger’s reason for allowing Ahmadinejad to speak is so that he can ask him “challenging” questions, such as why the “distinguished” terrorist leader has denied the holocaust and also why he has called for Israel to be “wiped off the map”. I have an answer for Mr. Bolliger, it is because he is a madman who who hates the Jews. I do not see the need to give this terrorist another platform; it is bad enough that he has a platform at the U.N..

The biggest crock of crap about this is that Columbia University is one of many that have denied the military’s ROTC program on campus due to the military’s stance on gays.

Columbia joined other schools across the country in banning the ROTC program due to the military’s stance on gays and lesbians, saying that the stance violates their anti-discrimination policy that includes sexual orientation.

So let me get this straight, the ROTC program is denied on campus due to the military’s anti-homosexual stance, but an anti-American, Jew bashing criminal who also publicly executes gays in his country is welcome. This is a bit of a contradiction wouldn’t you say?

But wait, the ROTC is not the only thing banned from campus. Colombia University has also banned any United States military from going on campus; the administration also denied John McCain a platform and “chased Minuteman founder Jim Gilchrist out of the building before he even had a chance to deliver his message”.

This is the problem with the American left, they are anti-American and these ridiculous stances prove it. They give aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States; enemies that would strike them dead in a heartbeat just for being American. Yet, the majority of the mainstream media is silent on this. There should be some serious repercussions for these actions, people should stop sending their children to these supposed “Ivy League” schools and employers should stop hiring Columbian graduates or any other graduates from schools that engage in this behavior until the various Universities understand that hiring anti-American administrators is not an option.

Little Green Footballs uncovers an HNN article that points out that Columbia University invited members of the Nazi party to campus in 1933 and 1936.

Seventy years before this week’s invitation to Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Columbia rolled out the red carpet for a senior official of Adolf Hitler’s regime. The invitation to Iran’s leader may seem less surprising, but no less disturbing, when one recalls that in 1933, Columbia president Nicholas Murray Butler invited Nazi Germany’s ambassador to the United States, Hans Luther, to speak on campus, and also hosted a reception for him. Luther represented “the government of a friendly people,” Butler insisted. He was “entitled to be received … with the greatest courtesy and respect.” Ambassador Luther’s speech focused on what he characterized as Hitler’s peaceful intentions. Students who criticized the Luther invitation were derided as “ill-mannered children” by the director of Columbia’s Institute of Arts and Sciences.

In 1936, the Columbia administration announced it would send a delegate to Nazi Germany to take part in the 550th anniversary celebration of the University of Heidelberg. This, despite the fact that Heidelberg already had been purged of Jewish faculty members, instituted a Nazi curriculum, and hosted a burning of books by Jewish authors. Prof. Arthur Remy, who served as Columbia’s delegate to the Heidelberg event, later remarked that the reception at which chief book-burner Josef Goebbels presided was “very enjoyable.”

Do we need anymore proof that Columbia University is the same bastions of garbage now as it was back then?

Bill Kristol calls for the students at Columbia to boycott their administrators. I however think the problem is much wider in scope. The only thing these idiots care about is the ability to indoctrinate generation after generation of similarly obtuse leftist pansies. Take away the money and you will watch the proselytizing teacher dry up an blow away. Thus I am squarely on the side of those in the business community boycotting the University.

Don’t advertise with Columbia, spend your money elsewhere. Don’t hire from its pool of candidates until the administration and faculty is cleansed of these anti-American, anti-military, anti-Zionist sycophants. Sorry, parents who are stupid enough to send their kids to Columbia and those who willingly chose this disgusting school are going to have to pay the price of supporting such well known ass wipes.
